KATHARINE HEPBURN
Talented, Stylish & Spirited

Born into a prominent New England family, record four-time academy award winning Katharine Hepburn, was uniquely headstrong and spirited. She mostly played roles which matched this image and she would eventually be named the “greatest female star in classic Hollywood cinema” by the American Film Institute.

She married only once, to Ludlow Ogden Smith, never had children, and is mostly known for her twenty-five-year relationship with her co-star, Spencer Tracey.

Using over two hundred pictures and videos, the presentation includes details of Hepburn’s extremely private personal life, audio visual clips of some of her most memorable acting roles and excerpts of the few interviews Hepburn granted, later in life.

Included will be René’s description of the amusing and unusual way in which he met Hepburn in 1982.
