JANE FONDA
Rebel With A Cause

Jane Fonda was born into a distinguished Hollywood family and seemed destined to become a legendary figure. Her 7-decade-long, multi-faceted life earned her many accolades and rewards, including two academy awards for best actress: Klute (1971) and Coming Home (1978).

Fonda’s personal life was as varied as her choices of eclectic films. She married three very different, notable husbands: French acclaimed movie director, Roger Vadim; controversial social activist member of the Californian State Senate, Tom Hayden; and legendary businessman, Ted Turner. She adopted her husbands’ wide-ranging political and social causes, becoming a controversial social and political activist and ecological preservationist.

Most recently, well into her 80s, Fonda co-starred in the provocative comedy-drama series, Grace and Frankie, for which Fonda received numerous awards including five Primetime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Lead Actress.
