Their influence can be found throughout the entire music industry, in society at large, and in every corner of the world. The Beatles defined a generation.<\/strong><\/h4><h4 style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>When John, Paul, Ringo and George formed The Beatles in 1962, they had ambition, drive and talent. John and Paul wrote all their own material, and teenage girls quickly started to swoon over the good-looking exotic group.<\/strong><\/h4><h4 style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>The Beatles did not expect it to turn into <em>Beatlemania<\/em>, first in the UK and soon the USA followed suit. Everywhere they went, girls would scream, cry and even faint at their concerts, while boys dreamed they could one day stand in their shoes. Virtually all their songs and albums became number 1 hits around the world.<\/strong><\/h4><h4 style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>But the intensity of <em>Beatlemania<\/em> overwhelmed the foursome, and in 1966 they decided to stop touring, and simply become a recording band. Although the expectation was that their fame would wane, reality proved that notion wrong. While their music became more experimental due to psychedelic drug use and the changing societal landscape, they remained at the top of the charts.<\/strong><\/h4><h4 style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Unfortunately, they started grow apart, and eventually personality clashes brought an end to the Beatles saga in 1970.
