Growing up in Europe, Robert has been a devoted fan of ABBA since they won the Eurovision Song Contest with Waterloo<\/em> in 1974 for their home country: Sweden.<\/h4>
Their rise to global fame in the 1970s was only comparable to The Beatles. Hits like Dancing Queen<\/em>, Fernando<\/em>and Take a Chance on Me<\/em> have become classics.<\/strong><\/h4>
After they unofficially stopped worked as a group in 1982, Frida and Agnetha worked on solo careers, while Benny and Bj\u00f6rn created the successful musical Chess<\/em> with acclaimed composer Tim Rice.<\/strong><\/h4>
The interest in the timeless music of ABBA resurfaced in the early 1990s when the greatest hits album ABBA-Gold<\/em> was released. It has become one of the best-selling compilations in history.<\/strong><\/h4>
The 1999 popular Broadway musical Mamma Mia<\/em> was made into an even more successful movie in 2008. It was followed up by Mamma Mia-Here We Go Again<\/em> in 2018, keeping ABBA\u2019s music in the public eye.<\/strong><\/h4>
After a 40-year hiatus, ABBA released a new album in 2021. What followed was a spectacular new show in London where the ABBA four-some is performing as Abbatars (a take on Avatars) in a state-of-the-art custom-built stadium.<\/strong><\/h4>
